The Caribbean Travel Awards is an annual competition established by the Caribbean Journal in 2013 with the aim of honoring and encouraging professionals in the tourism industry who are constantly thriving in the region.
This year, the twenty categories for travel awards in the Caribbean are: “Destination of the Year”, “Best Hotel in the Caribbean,” “Small Hotel of the Year”, “New Year’s Hotel” and “Minister of Tourism” Caribbean ‘Year’, ‘Caribbean Tourism Director of the Year’, ‘Caribbean Inclusive of the Year’, ‘New All-Inclusive of the Year’, ‘Small All Inclusive of the Year’, ‘Caribbean Hotel of the Year’ Innovative Destination For this year, “Luxury Destination of the Year”, “Yachting Destination of the Year”, “Caribbean Restaurant of the Year”, “Caribbean Culinary Destination of the Year”, “Caribbean Chef of the Year”, Best Airport in the Caribbean, and “Best Company Caribbean Airlines, Caribbean Bar of the Year, and Caribbean Villa of the Year.
