Saint George University (SGU) confirmed today that a Grenada-based contractor who recently worked on our True Blue campus has tested positive for the Covid-19 virus
A person who tests positive is in close contact with an individual in the cluster of active Covid-19 cases recently reported in Grenada. An infected individual receives appropriate medical care in a quarantine environment, and we are doing our best to support the individual’s health and protect his privacy. No students or other individuals on campus were affected.
The health and safety of our students, employees and the Grenada community is our primary concern. Our efforts are focused on tracking and notifying any members of the SGU community that may have had contact with an individual who has tested positive for the Covid-19 virus. As per the sanitary guidelines, we are conducting additional cleaning and sterilization on campus
